Weusi Revisited: 2010 showcases the work of the Weusi Collective. Founded in 1965, the Harlem-based Weusi (”way-oo-see,” which means Blackness in Swahili) are considered progenitors of the Black Arts Movement and were among the first artists to make African imagery a central part of their work.

Featuring:

* Artist Talks with renowned Weusi artists Dindga McCannon and MLJ Johnson.

* Art Market with pieces by MLJ Johnson, Robert Daniels, Ademola Olugebefola, and Dindga McCannon.

* Screenings of Weusi Revisited: 2010 documentary.
